Six things to know before the first whistle.
Draft the squad
Step 1
Pick exactly one country in each of the 12 World Cup groups. Your total spend must stay within the salary cap (default 100).
How points work
Step 2
Win = 3. Draw = 1. Clean sheet = 1. Goal difference ≥ 2 = +1.
Knockouts
Step 3
There are no draws in knockouts — extra time / penalties decide. Penalty shootouts do not count toward clean sheets.
Trades
Step 4
One trade attempt per player, group stage only. Same tier only. Anonymous until accepted. Accepting unlocks your steal.
Steals
Step 5
One steal per player, group stage only. Same tier only. You can’t steal back a country you just traded away.
Tiers + budget
Step 6
Countries are tiered Elite / Contender / Wildcard. Tier determines which trades and steals are legal. Budget determines who you can draft.
